About Rich

Rich Mostert has been an active participant in the community development, economic development, non-profit and fundraising arenas for over forty years. Rich moved to the Central Valley in 1986 and began a very successful career in economic, business, and community development. With a passion for community service, Rich’s career path has included leadership and executive roles for various non-profit organizations, including his current position as Director of Valley Community Small Business Development Center. In addition to his traditional employment, Rich has been a serial entrepreneur operating several small businesses and has been an instructor teaching courses in business planning, management, financing, strategic planning, fund raising, and grant writing. Rich has a B.A. in Management and Organizational Development from Fresno Pacific University, and an Executive MBA from California State University, Fresno.

I have been in small business and community development for over 40 years and own/operated several small businesses. I have been an MBA instructor for two different universities and I'm currently the Director of Valley Community Small Business Development Center.
